The project uses the principle of a nine square grid as a bases for its organization. This grid is then broken in 3 dimensions to create the varied spaces of the project. From closed and private bedrooms to open gathering spaces, the project uses the heavy stone walls and light wooden paneling to create distinct experiences within a small covered area. The materials also work in contrast to each other creating the image of a floating tree house mounted on a heavy stone base.
